Steven Roach is FACT’s Food Safety Program Director. He has an undergraduate degree in physics and philosophy and a M.A. in anthropology. His current work focuses on the human health impacts of animal agriculture including antimicrobial resistance. In the past, he managed a cage-free laying hen business that marketed fresh shell eggs into grocery chains in the Northeast. He has represented Consumers International as the delegate at the Codex Committee on Residues of Veterinary Drugs in Food and as the delegate at the Codex Ad hoc Task force on Antimicrobial Resistance.
