I am a music theorist, composer, euphoniumist, trombonist, and conductor. I hold the PhD in music theory from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (UC-CCM). I also hold the MM in composition from CCM and the BM in theory/composition from Morehead State University. Currently I am Assistant Professor of Music at the University of Minnesota, Morris, which is unsurprisingly in Morris, MN. My research interests include transformation theory, music theory pedagogy, wind band music, American music, and music for the stage.
